Fullbuster
Russians need to learn to like Disney animated movies, they're better IMO.Maybe Disney needs to open a Disneyland Moscow to teach young Russians some good things
Fullbuster
And Ralph could have good holds because Twilight BD2 is on November 15th, so it will keep many screens.

bofan
RUSSIA was off a good 47% from its opening, adding $5.2 million to bring the market cume to $16.1m So what will be final total 20M+ right ?
Jake Gittes
Wasn't the OW $8.3m? I'm not sure how it could have dropped 47% to over $5m from that. In any case, hopefully the cume is correct because it's going to at least outgross QoS and cross $20m now.
Fullbuster
So what will be final total 20M+ right ?Yeah, $20m is a lock, I expect a $23m finish. It will be higher than Quantum of Solace, I'm really satisfied
Fullbuster
I can't wait for Twilight BD2's OW, because the last movie beyond $10m OW is Ice Age 4, 4 months ago.

Rudolf
Skyfall only increased 2% over QoS at the same time here. That is the lowest value OS. Normaly Russia tops such lists. Anyone any idea why?

Anyone any idea why?Skyfall has no 3D, and 3D is popular in Russia. With 3D Skyfall would have more screens, higher ticket prices --> higher gross. And QoS = no competition, Skyfall faces other movies. Fullbuster
I think Rise of the Guardians will beat Wreck-it Ralph because :-Russians do prefer DW movies-It's culturally closer to Russia, particularly the Christmas theme, even if their Christmas is Orthodox and in January, it's not a big difference. Are you agree? I expect it beyond $20m, maybe a surprise..beyond $30m?
