A Marvel Fanboy
For modern theaters in China, the regular range you will pay for a regualr ticket is between 15 yuan ($2.4, cheap Tuesday price in some second tier cities) and 180 yuan ($28.8, IMAX price in mega cities). Average ticket price for 1)all movies (3D, 2D, foreign and local) about $5.7; 2) For 3D movies, about $6.7; 3) For 2D movies, about $5.3; 4) For foreign movies, about $5.3; 5) For local movies, about $5.9. Heretic
It does indeed. Must be one of most expensive cities for cinema tickets. At my cinema, a normal 2D adult ticket is $15.8. For 3D, that goes up to $19, and for IMAX $23.And that's a normal cinema. In the West end, Odeon Leicester Square for example, you can't get tickets for a normal 2D film cheaper than $25.4, with the more expensive seats at $35. That's a shocking price to pay for a film. Fullbuster
$25 for 2D.edit: I don't know why this cinema is so expensive, others are $11.5 per tickets. It's insane!

So, you are expecting an insane opening for TH. How does the Russian market work at Christmas? Does it have the same bad legs than the rest of the year or they are a bit better like happens in other markets?

peludo
First ten days of the year usually are holidays. So box office grosses are very strong. So, if it will be relased in December 19th, Fullbuster is expecting OW record (or similar), and 12 days later, after big opening, people have holidays and box office is stronger than usually (we already know Russia has usually very poor legs), what multiplier could we see from a OW record? x2? x2.5? x3? With a 25 OW, that would give us a range 50-75 million. I have always thought about 60-65, and these factors make me confirm that range is absolutely reachable.
