Hopefully a Wednesday evening count will tell us more - cause I don't know if I can do one on Monday or Tuesday.

(JWFK opened with 574.7k).

not a bad weekend but - without big openers - rather boring numbers.

Next weekend: Jurassic World 3 should take #1 but I don't see a rush, opening day numbers are underwhelming. 2mil total are the goal atm. Among other openers, anime Belle (Ryu to Sobakasu no Hime) is showing some promise today.

According to Insidekino JW actually had a 100k OD which is 53% above JW2 (65k), though quite a bit behind JW1 (145k apparently).

 

Does anybody know why the second one had such a low OD? Seems odd for the third to open that much higher again...

Probably will have to do with some football match or may be it didn't had full day of showings. JWD had some sort of holiday tho in large parts of country. IDK if Mark has put his first trend yet, but overall weekend will be less than FK.

There was no holiday yesterday in Germany. Next Thursday (16th June) is Fronleichnam, thats the next holiday.

Southern germans have Pentecost holidays (two weeks no school), that influence isn't that big though.

 

 

Thursday (worst case would be 55k (same resales multi as Wednesday)).

If the presales multi would increase as much as TLK's Thursday would have to be 96k.

So 55-95k meet in the middle at 75k (lol, I have no idea and didn't look at the showings today).

The large drop on Sunday because weather is going to become nicer through out the weekend.

Presales were kinda backloaded giving me some hope, that it will increase nicely on Friday and Saturday, but I am probably being too optimistic.

A 450k start would probably put the likely target somewhere around 1.6-1.9m

Lightyear presales haven't started yet - wanted to set up everything, so I only have to count, but nothing.

 

Also weather was good today and is predicted to be great tomorrow and on Sunday. I am not even completely sure anymore they can reach the trend.

And Saturday being 175k is pretty much impossible (kinda though the weather would only be good today and tomorrow).

 

Don't know if I will count Elvis, next after that will probably be Thor and after that no idea - will definitely, if possible try to count Avatar 2.
