IndustriousAngel
It's actually a very good hold since there's fine weather in most parts of Germany, so BO is generally weak this weekend.

IndustriousAngel
In most areas, yes - but that shouldn't deflate the weekend that much (quite the contrary actually), it's mainly the fine weather - and since IA4 and Brave are down to afternoon shows in most theaters, they get hit the hardest by families discovering the great outdoors. In Austria, Watch was nr.3, CitW 5th and Hbw 9th; in Germany: Hbw 5th, Watch 7th, CitW 10th. Also, in Austria Ex2 was in front $-wise too, not just admissions like in Germany. The coming weekend should hopefully see low drops; the only major opener will be "The Bourne Legacy" which will be nr.1 and hurt Ex2 and TR. The 3rd Bourne film had about double the admissions of Ex1; even without Matt Damon this should be able to at least match Ex2.

IndustriousAngel
If it does the same as Bourne3 that would be sensational. If it does half it would be poor. My expectations lie halfway inbetween, so I really don't smell a breakout, just a decent run. Especially with Ex2 and TR still in theaters and later in September RE:R and german TilSchweiger-actioner "Schutzengel" opening and eating into the target demographic. IndustriousAngel
Hmmm ... if the first weekend trend is not completely off, B:L opens on the poor side of expectations and it will be difficult to reach 1mil admissions whil Ex2 has a good hold and stays on track to maybe 1.2million. Fake
Most European markets including UK, Spain and Italy have dropped more than 50% in admissions, so I would have been surprised if it did hit 1 mil.I expect $7-9 from Germany. Is it because they don't recognize the star? Is it getting bad reviews? I don't understand why it would underperform like that.
