lab276
wow, how accurate is that prediction site?Well, I thought they were being optimistic predicting Bond to go over 6m (I'm pretty sure that was it) and now it's blown right by it. There's a good chance it'll fall right around where they have predicted.

Turkish-community hit "Evim Sensin" again with the highest PTA (has barely half the screens of Anna Karenina). The opening for WiR is undewhelming, and Tinkerbell is dropping fast - a difficult holiday season for Disney this year. Anna Karenina opened better than expected. Missing are numbers for the LotR-triple-features on Sat/Sun, somehow these shows never get counted but should have been at least Top12; probably much better. I was not even able to secure a number of theaters where LotR played. This weekend, "The Hobbit 1" will occupy the top spot; the number of different formats (2D, 3D, 3DHFR, dubbed and undubbed) and runtime leads to a shortness in screens for every other film so expect bigger drops this weekend. Distributors are well aware of that so there are no other wide openings.

IndustriousAngel
Yep, Intouchables is still ahead in Germany, but Skyfall's numbers are mindboggling indeed if you consider how well-established this franchise is. btw, in Austria Skyfall is ahead. Intouchables had about 700k, Skyfall should reach at least 800k admissions. And the ticket price for Skyfall is higher due to the overlength, so it will catch up in Dollars earlier than in admissions. In Germany alone, I see no chance it can top Intouchables' admissions though, not with the Hobbit coming out this weekend.
