BIGGEST MOVIES OF ALL TIME IN LOCAL CURRENCY (AS OF AUGUST 2017) The Avengers 2 : R$146m Captain America Civil War : R$143m Fast&Furious 7 : R$142m Fast&Furious 8 : R$132.7m Batman vs Superman : R$132.6m Beauty and the Beast 2017 : R$130.2m The Avengers : R$129.6m Minha Mãe É Uma Peça 2 - O Filme : R$124.2m Minions : R$120m Despicable Me 3 : R$116.3m (still ongoing) Os Dez Mandamentos - O Filme : R$116m Finding Dory : R$113.5m Star Wars The Force Awakens : R$109m Wonder Woman : R$104.6m Tropa de Elite 2 : R$103m Avatar : R$102m Twilight BD2 : R$101m Next movie to join this list : Spider-Man Homecoming. Justice League will do it as well, maybe on top. Thor 3 can do it but it's not 100% certain. DC is really big in Brazil, isn't it? Do you think JL can beat Avengers 2? Do you think The Last Jedi will go over or under The Force Awakens? Great list btw!

When you see the performance from Wonder Woman + the growth of the market since 2014....it's pretty clear Justice League can beat Avengers 2. It won't be easy but it's possible, and I hope the record czn be broken even if I love Marvel

Fullbuster
The Brazilian currency is not the only one to go in the right direction, the Euro is doing much better with a strong rise this year, movies such as Star Wars 8, Justice League and Thor 3 will benefit from it. For Star Wars 8 the gain could be around $50m, which is significant.

Well, it did it back then but it's under $1B since 2015 because of the economic crisis throwing the exchange rate toward madness But it could be back over $1B this year or in 2018 so that's great In local currency it never fell though, it's bigger than ever with records broken every year
