This messing up with releases is tough but shall be largest 4-Day OW from a Thu opener surpassing Age of Ultron's $390M. 3-Day is 8th below Endgame, Infinity War, Toy Story 4, No Way Home, Civil War, The Lion King and Age of Ultron.

Overall opening grosses up to Sunday is 5th below No Way Home, Endgame, Infinity War and Toy Story 4

CANACINE is reporting DS2's total as 422M lc. Still a big drop from Sunday's estimate, very unusual for Disney, and I think we are going to see a small multiplier 😐

 

It's still the 8th highest 3-day OW in lc, below Civil War and sandwiched between The Lion King remake and The Fate of the Furious.

Admissions is another scenario, only 5.6M, may not reach Captain Marvel.

The 3D percentage for DS2 was way lower than other markets in the region, so guess it'd be a similar scenario for AV2 (I take it will be released in that format). Does it carry enough nostalgia element to give the extra boost and reach 1B lc?

Mother's Day effect or not, DS2 made $1.5M on Tue for a $23.8M total, about 480M lc and breaking into the all time Top 50.

$1.7M Wed + Thu for the sorcerer, total is $25.5M (over half a billion lc). I say 600M lc minimum by Sunday.
