Purple Minion
$18.7M OW estimate for el Lion. 355M lc give or take. TS4 got hit by the jungle attack, total is $69.3M. But closer and closer to Endgame's admissions. Spidey's cume is $28.7M. Big drop. Edited July 21, 2019 by Purple Minion

They did had gross from the expansion hidden lol It made no sense that Day 1 of re-release only added $0.1M lc but the other three days over $6M. 1 hour ago, Purple Minion said: $18.7M OW estimate for el Lion. 355M lc give or take. I suppose holidays gave a bigger than expected boost. Hope that IM isn't sign of legs. It's looking to kick Avengers out of Top 5 all-time. 1 hour ago, Purple Minion said: TS4 got hit by the jungle attack, total is $69.3M. But closer and closer to Endgame's admissions. It's keeping the lead on admissions. It's going to be insane if beats EG considering it didn't had the advantage of both cheap tickets and expansion.
Carlangonz
After this weekend's results Buena Vista Distribution has achieved the milestone of $5B lc and $260M USD during the current year becoming the first studio in history to gross similar numbers in a single year. As of the moment of this typing Mexico represents the 4th best OS market of BV during 2019 being beaten only by China, UK and South Korea. Inevitable, it shall become the first $6B/$300M distributor too. 3

Purple Minion
Deadline reports that TLK's is the 4th biggest OW ever. Needs a 2.8x multiplier to reach the billion mark.

Mexico is behind not just from SK but also from Japan and Brazil for some titles but it has delivered more consistency thanks to bigger results for titles like Dumbo and Glass. Plus the overperformance of both Aladdin and Toy Story 4. Although UK is by far more constant. Edited July 21, 2019 by Carlangonz

The Lion King - Fifth best opening ever only below two last Avengers, Toy Story 4 and Civil War and fifth to gross over $300M and sixth to sell 5M+ admissions in a single weekend. - Best opening for a Disney live-action remake beating 2017’s Beauty and the Beast by 56%. Also best July launch surpassing 2015’s Minions by 41.8% - Should top last May’s Aladdin as highest grossing Disney live-action remake and aim towards the 5th position in the all-time chart (in lc and admissions) going above first Avengers and finish below Avengers: Endgame, Toy Story 4, Avengers: Infinity War and Coco. Anyway i have doubt given that TLK is way too strong for TS4 to handle in this late run.

If it holds then is passing IM3 by monday and if is indicative of strong weekdays that could mean good news for TLK (our third $1B?) and TS4 (Endgame is toast)
Purple Minion
Tony Stark is going down! TS4 sold 318,500 tickets Mon-Thu for a brutal 24,400,000 total. Only 400,000 behind Endgame. Very strong weekdays for TLK, total is now 549.2M lc (about $29M). If it has a decent drop this weekend, it should reach 1B. Sony rounded up Spidey's numbers, 565.8M up to Thu which is roughly $29.8M. 2 2
