Purple Minion
Spidey's weekend was 31.8M lc, 47% drop. Fun fact: If it reaches 1.52B lc, there will be 1B difference with the 2021's runner up, F9. Biggest movie of 2022 as of Sunday is My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission, but Scream should have passed it by now.

If it can’t at least 3x the runner-up this whole universe is cancelled 😒

Purple Minion
Usually there's more than one blockbuster per year. Another big difference between #1 and #2 was Coco and The Fate of the Furious in 2017.
LPLC
Do you think NWH can be #1 in LC and #1 in USD ?

USD is shut down unless it gets a re-expansion with some extra footage or content like EG and still would be a stretch.
Carlangonz
Technically there are no big titles coming up until The Batman comes out but Nightmare Alley is opening next week. Shape of Water neared $300M and had a long prolific run across Jan, Feb and part of March. This one doesn't have the awards buzz but still is Del Toro's property so if Disney doesn't dump it like in DOM then should top $100M+ and marketing is been strong so far. hw64
Is there any reason in particular for the huge jump in average ticket price for NWH in comparison to other recent blockbusters? ATP for NWH is working out to be around $70 in comparison to around $60 for Endgame, which is a big increase in only 2 years.

Decision from both exhibitors and studios to upset the decrease on attendance Prior to pandemic the last significant increase came during December 2018 so it was about time but trends made it a bigger jump In particular for NWH it was a slight increase on certain formats and markets made by Sony (same as Disney for Endgame and Toy Story 4) and the obvious preference to see this in IMAX or VIP compared to any other recent blockbuster. Cooper Legion
Guess the only thing left to do is dream of usd #1. Seems out of reach on a serious analysis though,

Carlangonz
It should be over IW in admissions as well. It's also now legging better than Aquaman at the same point of release so $1.55B-$1.56B should be safe.

Carlangonz
After 6 weekends, No Way Home has tied WW84 as the second title with most consecutive #1 in the past twelve years only below Avatar (8 weekends). It shall remain that way after it passes the top spot this weekend to Nightmare Alley
