Couldn't find any new release this weekend @ IMDB so it should be a quiet one. EDIT: Sinister 2 actually opens today! Should easily top the weekend. Couldn't find any new release this weekend @ IMDB so it should be a quiet one. EDIT: Sinister 2 actually opens today! Should easily top the weekend. Sinisters 2 opens here in Mexico on september 4. This weekends the movies that are going to open are the local animated sequel "Un gallo con muchos huevos" who should take the number 1 spot , Hitman, She's funny that way and a horror movie called Demonic. Ohh and The 33 has some pre-shows on Sunday night. Next weekend should be more interesting with Ted 2 opening here... Hernan Gonzalez
so 4 movies in the top 10 ever have been released this year. Mexico seems China... I think that is happening almost everywhere in Latin America, maybe not 4 but 3. 2015 is a fantastic year in LA. Fast & Furious 7, Age of Ultron, Minions, Inside Out and some local movies (of course, not all of them in every country) are among the Top Ten Movies Ever in many Latin American countries. In some markets in admissions, in others in local money and somewhere also in $. Take in account that Minions and FF7 did $200m+ in LA as a single market, something that only The Avengers did before 2015. Catty
Not much weekend Info. From Deadline: Vacation's hold in family-friendly Mexico was good with a cume of $3.1M after two frames. Found this on Screen Daily: Hitman: Agent 47 arrived in 20 smaller markets on $8.5m, led by a $1.3m number one debut in Malaysia and a $809,000 number three result in Mexico.

Purple Minion
Ted 2 won the weekend with US$1.8M and Los 33 at #3 with US$1.3M, as per Deadline. So Huevos must be #2. CANACINE didn't publish weekly charts on Friday, so we'll have updated numbers tonight. Edited August 31, 2015 by Purple Minion
Purple Minion
Huevos won the 3-day weekend and the 4-day in admissions. Don't think F4 will stay another weekend in the Top 10.

TheseDays
Wow, impressive result for Minions. Does anyone knows how many admissions Titanic had in Mexico? Cause it had 16 million in Brazil and generally speaking, Mexico tends to surpass Brazilian numbers.
