Thanks to Crunchyroll and Anime Factory from 2022 they almost stopped with limited releases, now almost every released anime film have at least one week in theaters and the most important ones even two  : )

Saw it yesterday, very good movie. Liked about as much as Your Name.

In Chile it had a lot of screens but with limited showings (1 or 2 per day), my showing was packed. 

It had restriction on discounts so the distributor was very confident on it!

The film is tracking 148% ahead of Your Name, and 111% over Weathering With You for the same group of markets at current exchange rates. From director Makoto Shinkai, the animated adventure has been out in Asia for some time and has had a very strong run in China where it’s at over $109M.  The estimated global total to date is $275M.

Box Office Pro reported $16.3M across SPR Markets. I am currently trying to find out where it has gross so high. Hopefully, I think Shawn can clarify my question.
