Could be wrong on this since I'm kinda hazy but iirc they changed it from ladies' day to a general discount day like last year, still benefits female-skewing films more out of habit tho I guess

During Ticket Price revision by Chain. There was no mention of Ladies Discount Day - cease to exist though I am not sure if any independent practice - so you are correct -

Anecdotally, I'm looking at some Toho cinema listings and I see Elemental is moving to some bigger auditoriums this weekend. So we might expect to see a bigger seat count for it when the data comes in.

with elemental climbing to #2 and inching closer to kingdom would definitely say WOM is kicking in, we'll  see how rest of the week shapes out

also...only looked over a few locations but barbie presales do not look bad at all. shinjuku is already having multiple shows over 50% sold just 20 minutes after they went on sale. could be worse at more rural locations though, I don't really have time to look around properly. feels like it was a mistake putting it on small screens though.
