I smell another academy award winning short for Disney here 

 

They didn't win for Get a Horse. Paperman was a pretty big exception for WDAS. But it seems Feast is a bit more on the sentimental/heartwarming side of things, like Paperman, rather than balls to the wall humor like Get a Horse, so it may have a better chance.

Wow at that Variety article. Made me more excited that I could ever be. That fact that it's an emotion-filled short should make it a better experience.

Yeah it sounds like its a beautifully rendered short film.  But as much as I'm looking forward to the food.  I think I'll be balling at the end, especially when they compared it to the first minutes of Up.

Wow, this is about as glowingly positive a reaction as it's possible to have.

 

To call “Feast” a hit with that crowd would be an understatement: Erupting with laughter early on, then moved to the brink of tears in almost record time, the audience erupted into applause when the credits rolled, and then, realizing that clapping wasn’t enough to convey their enthusiasm, began stomping loudly on the bleacher seating while director Patrick Osborne stood stunned and speechless, overwhelmed by the response.

Let's hurry up to November please. Lol. I'm kinda missing the Disney Animation slayage now that Frozen has run its course. Like, looking at the numbers everyday and checking the holds for Tangled, Ralph and Frozen.

Yup. And animation in general has been pretty disappointing BO wise since Lego. Good thing the teaser was attached to Maleficent. It got best reaction during my viewing and it must be getting good exposure since Maleficent is performing well.

New character posters. I must say that they look horrible. Why Wasabi is a black man with dreads? Gogo looks the worst out of a bunch. Costumes look cheap and bad, like a child's toy.. What is this, a cheap Dreamworks movie? It has "only for kindergarteners" written all over it. Come on, wdas, why do you do this. Still optimistic, but not hyped.

It's not a huge deal if they don't follow the original designs. Baymax should have indicated that this would be the case.

 

Anyways, they look pretty cool, especially Wasabi and Tomago.

I like the designs. They all have good silhouette difference. Even the two girls, which is a common problem for WDAS.

 

I will say I have no knowledge of the original comic or characters, other than the fact they exist.

From the comics, Baymax, Wasabi, and Fredzilla are the only ones who look extremely different from their Disney counterparts.

I'm really liking the designs. Has a Gatchaman type feel to them.

They are great, especially Wasabi, Honey, Hiro and Baymax.

I like them, but I would have preferred Wasabi to stay Asian.
