Rsyu
I'm sure the only "films" North Koreans are allowed to see are propaganda material showing how evil America is, their own military strength etc the usual rhetoric. Watching Hollywood films there would probably be considered blasphemy and get you executed.

Rsyu
Transformers: age of extinction (D-1) Current presales: 83.5% (173,711) Pre-release ratings: 6.16/10 Previous Transformers Series Transformers Admissions: 7,440,531 OW gross: $11,225,537 Gross: $51,511,860 Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Admissions: 7,505,700 OW gross: $11,229,911 Gross: $43,392,124 Transformers: Dark of the moon Admissions: 7,784,807 OW gross: $21,810,742 Gross: $69,067,774 TF4 has a great release date. Summer holidays are beginning for schools and it's closest competitor (edge of tomorrow) is already in the fourth week of it's run. The presale share is the biggest of 2014, far outstripping Days of future past's previous record of 68.1%. whether or not it can match TF3's opening day admissions of 544,995 remains to be seen.
chasmmi
The Admissions history of Transformers in Korea pretty much screams that it is doing 7.5 and not doing 8.0 regardless of opening weeks or whatever. I am hoping that I have got my currency exchanges correct and that this results in a final gross of about $65M Edited June 24, 2014 by chasmmi
Rsyu
Yeah I agree that increasing over TF3 will need something special. Even so, there is no major competition for TF4 until July 17th when rise of the planet of the apes is released. Local films <divine move> or <good friends> may provide competition if they're received well but that's about it and with local films doing so badly, it wouldn't surprise me if they continued the downward trend.
