Olive
The Avengers: AoU anticipation rating (Naver) Basically in a single day! huge.. Does the red figure mean votes wanting to see the movie? That's incredibly high, Interstellar's number is under 7k.

Yeah you're right and it's still 6 months away Of course more thumbs up doesn't always mean it will do better at the box office, maybe just a better OW. Word of mouth still makes or breaks films.

Rsyu
Interstellar had a screening session for media journalists today. Here are some of their reactions. It's a rough translation. "169 minutes of shivers and joy" "Nolan's insane creativity, 169 minutes was too short" "Christopher Nolan draws an image of space using his imagination" "The search for a new planet spells the end of earth and a new beginning for mankind.Wormholes and a new planet on the other end, as well as the mysterious unknown of the black hole is enough to draw in the audience. 'Interstellar' is about exploration of space with a mission to save humanity, but it is also about love that transcends time and space. A father taking to the stars in order to protect the future of his family and loved ones is enough to bring tears to the eyes." Some tweets from netizens "Interstellar...a crazy film. I'm too full of emotion to write a review right now. Personal score: 5/5" "Christopher Nolan's interstellar....I'm simply amazed. I couldn't follow all the technical terms but I think the message is clear: Time is relative, but love transcends space and time and is what makes us human" " A hard sci-fi film about space and family. The story is pushed firmly forward and everything goes from there. The visuals and acting all come together in an explosive combination, Especially Matthew McConaughey. The film in IMAX and music by Hans Zimmer overwhelms the audience and becomes a symbolic tool of the movie." "The drama is very rough and shaky. At times the melodrama is too much to take. But there are quite a few breathtaking scenes and I was never bored during the entire running time. More than anything I'm glad I was able to experience visually the most accurate portrayal of the black hole. That alone was huge." "I think it's a very polarizing film, there are many great moments but the dullness during the beginning and middle parts of the film is unavoidable.." "I'll start of by saying Interstellar isn't a masterpiece. But I was able to feel Nolan's attempt to break out of the box, and it seemed like an ambitious film with a lot to say." Rsyu
I wonder if SK Audiences would love 169 min epic. Maybe 5-600 mil admissions at best? It's not impossible for films with long run times to become a box office hit. TF4 and TF3 is noticeably long as was avatar. TDKR was also around 164 mins and RotK was a whopping 200 mins. 5-6 million admissions would be great for interstellar, especially considering it's out of the holiday frame. worst would be around 2.5 million admissions probably, it could happen if it has toxic Word of mouth. Hoping the twitter reactions become the norm. Edited October 28, 2014 by Rsyu
Rsyu
The much-hyped virtual headset of Oculus Rift has gone ahead and made an Interstellar experience, where you can deeply immerse yourself into the spaceship used in Interstellar and explore for around 3 minutes. Yongsan CGV happens to have an Oculus Rift booth set up now and you can try it out for free until Nov.9. The Oculus Rift Experience runs from 12pm-9pm and is first-come, first-serve.
