My talk was about summer no1.You're right about ROTK being 2003 champ. Before FN, we have to go back to summer 98 to find an "original" summer no1.(Armageddon, if you don't count SPR re-release of spring 99..)

And I prefer to see it your way, the real winner of the year was FN.As for 98, either way, you get an original movie being the top Summer film.

I think he means weekend # for brave based off of a 10M friday.

I don't know TBH, I've never really payed attention to IM's. But everyone was suggesting before somewhere around $35m (which Nikki has it at now) based on that Friday.

Shocking is not strong enough.Sequel/stars/huge project...If even these 3 things don't work anymore...what will we stay with?

Score two for original movies this weekend.

Hm?

Not a fan of LOTR, i presume?

I don't see an original movie winning the summer in the near future...or after.

Too many supereheroes will prevent that happening.

I love LOTR, but what I mean is I prefer to go with Calendar gross since it's the more accurate measure, and for that year FN was the biggest film. Like in 1998, Titanic was the biggest film.

In a way i perfectly understand this logic. But in another way, oh!!Despite a 98release in my own country, Titanic sounds for me "97".Like Avatar is for me a 2009movie.BruceWillis was robbed a 99summerwin by SWE1, so let him enjoy his 98summerwin.lol
