yjs
SK Monday 113k -77.5% from Sunday, total 7.91M It's slowing down and acting like a family movie now.Still much smaller drop than LEGO. but then again it took 35% of the whole ticket sales. guess Monday was deflated a lot. Hernan Gonzalez
Took me a while to make heads or tails out of the page from that link. Finally figured out Frozen was Karlar Ülkesi Over 3 m in 14 days, looks like my optimistic 5m estimate might end up being low. Yeap! It did!!! $5.1 M in Turkey and counting!!! Omni
That would be a little less than 30% drop from last week's $50 M. There are no openings this week but a full week in China and Saint Valentine's Day next Friday. $950 M. should be locked... 'Locked' is a bit too much. We don't know how it will hold in China, it could even freefall against the new local openers.

China down 30% monday from opening day(holiday). Just 8% from Friday (workday). Great hold. SK down 45% from last monday but there was holiday spillover there. Down just 22% from tues. 950 a lock.

Incarnadine
Totally agree! I was thinking the same early when I saw today numbers from SK and China Looks like China is going to fall in that 30-50m range after all. Was that "10 day run in China" we were hearing a mistake, or did it get extended from that?
BadAtGender
Looks like China is going to fall in that 30-50m range after all. Was that "10 day run in China" we were hearing a mistake, or did it get extended from that? I think it was more that in the face of the tremendous success of Monkey King, Dad, and Macau, as well as the slate of Valentines openers, Frozen didn't look likely to post anything beyond that 10 day range. It would still play out to the end of its run, though. (A month? I'm not sure how long it's actually being given.) Since it seems to be holding up pretty well, that's changed. Was that "10 day run in China" we were hearing a mistake, or did it get extended from that? 10 day run was a guess after we saw its underwhelming OD, glad its great WOM kicked in and hold really well. It will lose at least 50% of its screens on VD, friday...
mfantin65
Down only 9% from last monday domestic. A flat week will definetly put TS3 in jeapordy. If SK can do another 900k tomorrow it will only be down 15%. Bodes well for a small weekend drop. With VD it'll be an interesting week, especially china. portgas
Funny tidbit. Hong Kong's regionalized name of Frozen is 魔雪奇緣. Interestingly enough, it's just the Chinese name of Tangled (Strange Story/Destiny of the Magical Hair) with hair replaced by ice
