BadAtGender
Can Frozen beat Lord of the rings 3? I think yes! Unless it completely falls off a cliff after this weekend, it should end up at least at 1.13b, which puts it firmly in 6th place, ahead of RotK and TF3.

SB -50%- 13m week. then -30% 9m, then 6m. Thats 104m start gw. 8m. Then 3m,2m,1m. 117m. Locked. I just dont see a standard drop happening like this. 125 is pretty much a lock. It is upgraded to likely. But a huge hold cometh and we may start talking about #5 on wed or sat as in play. right now 150 is in play, very possible. Incarnadine
Looking at BOM Frozen is still playing in several other OS markets besides Japan. Just checking some of the bigger markets it's still going in the UK, Spain, Germany and Sweden. While it's not putting up big numbers those markets still help a bit. Last weekend the UK was the biggest of the holdovers with 131k, with Sweden next at 88k.
Omni
1.1b on wed Maybe even on Tuesday. SB will put it close to 1.099, and dailies can be slightly inflated right after holidays end. Also, I think BOM is underestimated it total gross a little. It made 24+ on Japan alone, the rest of the markets should have pushed it above 25M. Peeta Tong Karanasios
In 2013 Frozen was the highest grossing film in France! It has also more box office than Alice did in 2010
edroger3
Frozen grosses 200M$ in Japan+South Korea+China (75,1+76,9+48,2). It's about 30% of overseas total. That put Frozen as highest grossing Disney/Pixar animated movie in Asia-Pacific/Russia region.

BadAtGender
I did some back-of-envelope calculations, and in order for Japan to match Korea's admissions to population rate, it would need about 25-26 million total.
