The Dark Alfred
IMAX films can share dates, and Red Pyramid was shot in IMAX, so no turning back. Sorry, bud IMAX never do shares. Never ever. They have a two-year plan in advance. The only time they split screens if a film breaks out and the studio manages to crack a deal with the other distributor, that's what happened with Avengers and Dark Shadows. When two films come out the same time, you have to choose. You can move Red Pyramid to solve the issue, otherwise it's only plaing in concentional theatres. Alpha
With the bitching coming from everybody , I'm annoucing that Red Pyramid will be released as an IMAX exclusive on June 25, expanding to July 2 in both conventional and IMAX theaters. The Dark Alfred
As I said before you can't expand it on July 2nd, because Hindenburg is having 4 showings per day, you can't fit another IMAX release. An early IMAX release and then expanding to conventional theatres actually a smart idea.

CJohn
I have IMAX exclusive for Adventures of Chris Smith starting on June 18 for 2 weeks. So you should start thinking about other date for Red Pyramid. Edited November 4, 2012 by CJohn

riczhang
Oh, all is fine then Glad we're in agreement. You can have all the 15/70 screens when Hidenburg opens which I'm assuming was shot at least partly in native IMAX.
Alpha
I think I'm doing non-15/70 IMAX for Red Pyramid, if that exists

Blankments
Yeah, I'd push it back to Tomb Raider. That's six months prior to the release, which is the general schedule with the few real-life Prologues.
