peludo
The hobbit 2 won't open until February here. WTF!!! Yes. Firedeep said it some days ago. It seems it will have a similar date than first part because of one local movie.
Olive
I thought it would open earlier since Spring Festival is 10 days earlier than 2012.
A Marvel Fanboy
No Man Land is getting strong WOM from previews. Will it become a 500m+ blockbuster ? Lets see. 150m 6days should be the floor I think.
Bob Violence
Presales seem pretty good at my usual theater. I booked a 7:45 show for tomorrow and about a dozen seats had already been sold, which is good for a Tuesday opener at this location (particularly for a local film). This is only December release I'm really looking forward to, though I figure I'll drag myself to the theater for Firestorm and Personal Tailor. Bob Violence
Huang Bo (who's had several other hits this year) and Xu Zheng. The two co-starred in Lost in Thailand, so this is sort of a reunion, except it was actually shot in 2009 and got tied up in the censors' office. And the director is Ning Hao, who's done some popular comedies (Crazy Stone, Crazy Racer, Guns and Roses). NML should be his most commercially successful film (Guns and Roses did 150m yuan last year), the question is by how big a margin. A Marvel Fanboy
Indeed very good workday hold for TWS, though the opening was a little softer than expected. 250M total is still in play.

The Toymaker
Firestorm and Personal Tailor look so bad. I will see The White Storm and No Man's Land (but not in China).
