The WOM is unexpectedly excellent (8.8 in Douban, 9.4 in Maoyan, just follows Zootopia this year).

 

Due to the decent pre-sale of the next two days, its first week should reach 110M or even more,

Sat. 38.2M(+80%)

Sun. 33.7M(-13%)

To be honest, it's no doubt to surpass Billy Lynn's number at the end.

Yeah just Saturday. Moana is already up to 9.4m when it only did 1.6m total yesterday.

because no competition, Sully and Suddenly Seventeen are flop. Sully will just be in #4 today.

 

BTW, HR will probably get 43M(+100%) today, the WOM is absolutely amazing (8.8 in Douban, still increasing).

I think both OD and OW records will hold at least for 4-5 years.

Amazing bump for Hacksaw. 80%+ for an R rated drama, That's a WoM pop. Maoyan holding at 9.4, a very high score overall, more so for a drama. It will be interesting to see how the weekdays hold.

 

Moana going to hold 50% WoW today with 60% screen loss.

 

YN continues to mirror FBs run closely and behind by just a few million yuan at the same point in the run.

 

THGs PS started of strong but its daily increases continues lag other blockbusters. Thursday 6pm and Friday combined maybe 150m.

 

With these holds and TGW, it will be a competitive market next week.
