Elessar
A few notes: 1. Skyfall and Hobbit will open together on January 10th (the Thursday). Premier schedule will be 1.10~2.09 for both. 5. RE5, Cloud Atlas, etc could aslo possibly be released in January. Dunno what's gotten into them. I can't remember them releasing two big blockbusters on the same day prior to the TASM / TDKR thing, each movie at least got one week. But now suddenly some asshole decided to screw foreign movies over even more. Edited November 26, 2012 by Elessar

iceroll
Why is the BOM gross for LOP so much lower?
Bob Violence
BOM are evidently using CFG's original figure, which was later revised upward: http://www.filmbiz.asia/news/pis-asian-slice-bigger-by-half
iceroll
So it should be updated soon?
A Marvel Fanboy
Can 2012 reach 31M (800 WW?Nope. From Thursday, its shows count will be cut to 5% from 20%.It will have the worst leg for a film ever.PS. By Tuesday, it is at $16M
A Marvel Fanboy
300m finish possible?Hardly possible. For 300M to happen, it needs no less than 10M on Thursday and 110M+ for the whole week.Shows count will be cut to less than 20% from current 30% on Thu. Also it loses IMAX, which generates 10~15% box office for Pi, on Thursday.

POLYLOVE
Breaking: For punishment of unsatification of Taichi's B.O. performance, Huayi won't allow its 1942 run in 362 theaters naionwide. Drama in the last minutes....1942 is going to release in just 7 hours. This will ultimately benefit LoP and The Last Supper. Huayi is really like a bully in this case.
