According to HR, Expendables 2 had $25.2M estimated opening in China.

Looks like estimates were low.Hopefully that bodes for TDKR and TASM as well

I think you're missing the good news; TE2 opened to $25m! That is huge for a film that opened to only $36m in its home market!

When TF3 opened last summer, TF2 also made the top 10 with a limited re-release.

One step ahead of you, Olive. Why compare a 3-day opening to a 6-day opening?Its domestic opening when referring to its Chinese 6-day was $36.7m, not $28.6m.

Cinemas in my area seem to have about 20 showing a day for TE2. About 3-4 for the others; TASM, TDKR and PROM. In fact, TASM has 0 in one cinema because of PROM.

That would be fantastic. And that would be its biggest foreign market.

Same as TE1.In fact, if TE2 was pulled from all Chinese cinemas right now, it would still be its biggest foreign market.

Maybe more, TE2 has a extra 7-days National Holiday to be released, while TDKR and TASM don't.
