Rudolf
For those familiar with my correction for Hollywood-market-size, where I use the sum of the 15 biggest Hollywood-block-busters of a year for a country (without the local movies). For China 2011 I used $764m (compare to DOM $3346.3m). With Firedeeps's data I get for 2012: $924.8m and for 2010:$555.4m - quite some growthfor 2009:$308.8mfor 2004:$67m (I had to make up a 15th value as there were only 14) Edited September 27, 2012 by Rudolf

Quite a part of it takes place in Shanghai. 20M is the floor and 30M is the potential. Could be this holiday's biggest release. By tomorrow we may have a clearer picture about where it can go.It is said the Chinese version of Looper is a little different from international version. Some scenes were cut and some added. The Toymaker
I expect cut scenes, but.........some added scenes??? Like, scenes that the rest of the world will not get? That'll ge me to the cinema on its own. It's not often, being in The People's Republic of China, that you get to see something that others don't. POLYLOVE
Any movie to be the winner is fine by me except Tai Chi 3D, although its scores seems not bad.
