Not a good comp. WW2 was something that trended for weeks in Summer holidays while Hi, Mom will be very very frontloaded in first week relatively.

At this point, it has become more likely that something that wins OD loses CNY. This time OD lead was too big so everyone thought that may be....

 

In India, Telugu industry produce such result. During similar festival in Jan 2019, a film opened ₹25cr on day 1, while other did just ₹6cr.

 

Final numbers ₹70cr & ₹117cr respectively

Seems like 300-310 today. We need over 350 to be comfortably crossing WW2. 310 would mean it will be over/under. Anything below will make it even more tougher.

So about 320M 2nd Friday. That is not really great sign for crossing WW2.

 

BUT

 

What's worse is Saturday PS, which suggest 275M ish 2nd Saturday. That makes it chances to go for WW2, really really tough. In fact, I will go on to say, it is almost unlikely now.
