Very small chance. Could die right before 400M, just like MoS and Croods. It will pretty much be gone on Wednesday or Thuesday.

I worded that wrongly, meant to say no wonder why there's such a big gap, drop off in gross between FF6 and PR.  I know about loss of screens, huge drop with new releases and such, but the average ticket price really make a big difference too.

PR what ? It dropped more than FF6 on first Monday.

 

And nope, FF6 wont sail past MOS. It will be gone from theaters on Friday. 180M 3-days opening, less than 400M finish. Worst legs ever in history.

 

Anyway, FF6 was always supposed to do much more than MoS.

 

MOS OS excluding China 300M

FF6 OS excluding China 490M

MOS China 63M

 

So FF6 should do 100M in China with similar advantage. 100M would have happened with a June release. Even so, under normal condition, FF6 should still easily do 80M with a 29M 3-days opening. But now FF6/MOS head to the same range sub $65M.
