This is what I can see about PR at the moment:

Mon 30m

Tue 30m

Wed 18m

Thu 10m

Fri 11m

Sat 15m

Sun 13m

127M 2nd week, -54% drop, 407M cume

Or:

Mon 30m

Tue 30m

Wed 20m

Thu 12m

Fri 13m

Sat 18m

Sun 15m

138M 2nd week, -51% drop, 418M cume

Another 50ish% weekly drop, or 60~70m week, will give it cume of 467M ~~ 488M after 3 weeks.

After that, it will struggle its way to 500M for the rest two weeks of its five weeks run.

So 500M $80M may happen and may not happen. Hard to say at the moment. We will see.

Big mistake .... I confused Wed with Thu ... 8.7 is Wed. So:

Mon 30m

Tue 32m

Wed 29m

Thu 18m

Fri 10m

Sat 14m

Sun 12m

145M 2nd week, -48% drop, 425M cume

Or:

Mon 30m

Tue 32m

Wed 29m

Thu 19m

Fri 11m

Sat 15m

Sun 13m

149M 2nd week, -47% drop, 429M cume

Another 50ish% weekly drop, or 70m week, will give it cume of  490M+ after 3 weeks.

After that, it will struggle its way to 530M $85M for the rest two weeks of its five weeks run.

So 500M $80M will happen but wont go too far. We will see.

Rentrak to Offer Daily Box-Office Reports from China

In a sign of China's growing importance to the movie business, Rentrak said Tuesday that it will begin providing daily box-office results for films released in that country.

Rentrak, which provides box-office information domestically as well as in other Asian countries like Malaysia and Japan, said it has gathered two years of historical data from China. It said it will receive data from 2,500 theaters, which accounts for 95 percent of the market in China.

"Our theatrical business is all about growth, and China is the fastest-growing theatrical market,"  Ron Giambra, president of theatrical worldwide at Rentrak, said in a statement. "As international box office revenue continues to grow in China, our expanded measurement is vital in helping

Revised forecast:

Mon 30m

Tue 32m

Wed 29m

Thu 18m ~ 20m

Fri 15m ~ 20m

Sat 20m ~ 28m

Sun 20m ~ 24m

167M~186m 2nd week,  447M~466m cume

Another 50ish% weekly drop, or 80m~90m week, will give it cume of  520~530M+ after 3 weeks.

So $90M+ is still possible. All depends on this Thursday and Friday, and next week's CVD.
