2013 Hollywood top midnight/OD:

TITLE --- MD ---- OD ----Total

IM3 ---- 13M ---- 121M (Holiday) ---- 753M

FF6 ---- 4.2M ---- 55M (Friday) ---- 413M

PR ---- 3.7M ---- 56M (Wednesday) ---- 694M

MoS ---- 2.4M ---- 36M (Thursday) --- 394M

GIJ2 ---- 1.8M ---- 34M (Monday) --- 338M

TDW ---- 1.8M ---- ? (Friday) --- ?

Skyfall ---- 1.7M ---- 32M (Monday) --- 376M

Hobbit ---- 1.15M ---- 35M (Friday) --- 315M

STID ---- 1.1M ---- 25M (Friday) --- 353M

19pm, TDW OD looks close to or softer than MoS and Hobbit. 400M ($65m) is likely gone I think.

The PSA for TDW and EP on Friday is very close. EP 7days (likely 110m+) VS TDW 3days, Should not be too far off.

For comparison, Hobbit AUJ 3days OW was 115M off a 35M opening Friday in Feb.

Thor in 2011 OD was 20M, a 30M OD for TDW would mean only 50% increase (OD-wise).

Estimated screening count for Thor 2 on Friday is 30000~31000. An ideal OW breakdown will be 40m/60m/50m. Less than 35m OD = disappointment. 45m+ OD = breakout.

Now lets see if 350M happens or not.

Yeah the evening show is pretty solid, which makes it eventually to be decent OD for TDW. Maybe right around MOS OD number.

EP is realling doing AMAMZING ! 40% cut in screen count but small decrease at box office despit TDW drawing over the most audience.

EP and TDW will be really close for the #1 weekly spot.

I enjoyed EP. It should get strong legs.

Next week, TDW apparantly faces much less competition compared with MOS. So definitely bigger 2nd than MOS.

Also, Monday (11.11) is a holiday (non-official) and will be a huge day at the box office. So maybe this Sunday will be inflated a litte, instead of normally 20% drops from Saturday. We'll see.
