That would be great. Opening Saturday will be it's biggest day followed by Sunday. With 25-30M OD, we're probably looking at 120-130M from the 6 days.

Yeah it can make 250M with this kind of opening week if WOM is not bad.

I expect AOU first 6 days performs like:

midnights: 15M

Tues: 145M

Wed: 110M

Thu: 100M

Fri: 130M

Sat: 220M

Sun: 180M

900M yuan/$150M 6-DAY OW

what would be the final total with that?

250-300?

If that happens then Overseas will go to 1.1 billion

Holy crap. Will people buy at those prices?

They always raise the price when a super hot movie released..Of course people will buy but I won't.

what would be the final total with that?

250-300?

If that happens then Overseas will go to 1.1 billion

1.7-1.8x its 6-day opening will be its final total.

By my calculation, April box office should match February's 4.1B yuan for biggest month all time. That marks a 125% increase from last April.

By Apr 30, 2015 YTD box office should be around 13.7B, up 58% from the first four months of 2014, with the share of foreign films rising to 42%+.

With TA2, May could have 3.5B (May 2014 was 2.23B). June will be big too, if JW gets released. But July could see a decrease over last year. If July is not too terrible, 2015 yearly box office will be increasing at least 30% from 2014, with a shot at 40%+.

Weekend bumps should be bigger, as most kids love Avengers.

Showtimes improved for Thursday. Are these two openers supposed to be promising? Still looking for some kind of holiday pop. I find it hard to believe that a movie so popular with so much early demand could fizzle like every other release.
