I think this is kind of an underrated Christmas movie. It's not in my top list or anything, but still a good movie. I still love the sign in the background when Bill Murray is on the treadmill. Since his character's last name is cross, the sign said (probably not verbatim)"cross -(noun) - a thing you nail people to" :PB+

Scrooged is a very silly film. As always with 80s comedies for me, the jokes are hit and miss, but the overall production value makes it worth it. Bill Murray's performance is one of his best, elevating his rather dull material with some great energy and nailing the dramatic moments perfectly. The otherwise cheesy ending works entirely thanks to Murray's complete selling of the monologue, and it's fun. Scrooged isn't perfect, but for one looking for an alternative to the classic Christmas Carol story, it's hard to go wrong with watching it. B

Saw it again last night.  I still love this film and love Carol Kane in it.  She kills it.
