Impact
Its some Bollywood film and it debuted around what they normally do.The reason why it was in the top 10 was due to the lack of releases latley. It was like how this film called "Women Where art Though" was in the top 10 in 2004. Impact
Neither did I. This is not the first time a Bollywood film has made the top 10 though.

grim22
I had no clue about it though. Secret marketing?Secret Marketing? This was Bollywood's big Diwali release (think Thanksgiving and Christmas rolled into one) and starred the biggest star in the industry (Shah Rukh Khan) and is directed by a famous filmmaker who passed away a month before the release (Yash Chopra). If anything, there was overpromotion. I saw it in a packed theater in Burbank (250 seats, sold out).

baumer
I had never heard of this either but when I went to go see Breaking Dawn this weekend it had two sold out night shows at my local theater. Toronto has a very big Bollywood community I can tell you that. Edited November 20, 2012 by Breaking Dawn baumer
