Jake Gittes
Have yet to see Django, ZDT and The Master. But Denis Lavant would win Best Actor from me no matter what.

Jack Nevada
I haven't seen Lincoln, ZDT, Life of Pi, Killing Them Softly, and hardly any Foreigns... Trust me, Killing Them Softly is nothing. I highly doubt it would have made your list
CoolioD1
People always forget Tom Tykwer directed half of Cloud Atlas....
CoolioD1
Trust me, Killing Them Softly is nothing. I highly doubt it would have made your list I thought it was pretty good! It wouldn't make many of my nomination things though. Maybe if I did nominations for Ensemble or Cinematography it would be in there. Those two aspects are great and underrated. rockNrollaDIM
Trust me, Killing Them Softly is nothing. I highly doubt it would have made your list But I love Jesse James so much... I simply refuse to believe it's that bad until I see for myself. You think Pitt could at least have broken into my actor category?
CoolioD1
Which parts did he direct? I suppose you're right, will include him.The first three stories I think - Slave ship/composer/70s conspiracy. I do like the three the Wachowskis did better than those three though.
CoolioD1
I think the three directed the movie togetherIn post-production they did, but I read they'd be off doing different parts at the same time during production so they could get it done faster. Gandolfini is good too but they give him fuck all to do in the movie

Slave ship/70s conspiracy were not up there for me but I did love the composer story hence Ben Whishaw, so you're right that Tykwer does deserve a mention! Did TT also do the old folks home or was that Wachowski Starship too?
