@peludo @jma22  Care to explain, What happened here? Within a single year, the ATP of movie ticket rose by 3 times from 1.18 Euro (Star Wars) to 3.7 Euro (Titanic)? I thought World was going through Crisis lol.

Huge 5º weekend for Avatar 2 . One of the best 5º wkend of all time

Fran speech predicted 2,8M€ ------ 40,1M.  If the Disney estimates = 40,3M€  that means a weekend around 3M€

I think Avatar 2 coud be the 3º best fifth weekend of all time

1- Avatar = 4,36M€

2. 8 apellidos vascos= 4,13M€

3. Avatar 2 = 2,8-3M€

4. Joker = 2,35M€

5. The impossible = 2,17M€

I can't find data of Titanic

I´d love it, but i think we should wait at least couple of weeks more with good holds, but is really exciting the A2 run in Spain!

I do not want it happens, but all signs head to it. With a 7.2 average ticket price, it "just" needs €52m total to beat Doctor Zhivago admissions. The key weekend was this one and it has had a superb hold. I do not see any reason to think it will collapse. It just needs a quite average run from now to reach that amount.
