peludo
THE IMPOSSIBLE has grossed $42.5 million in Spain. It now ranks behind only AVATAR and TITANIC on Spain's all-time list.I thought it could not beat ROTK (32.8 million €) this weekend but it has done it. peludo
@RentrakSpain #THEIMPOSSIBLE - 5 weeks on the Top of our ranking with more that 5MM Admissions in Spain. Incredible, but expected. Last week it already had 4.7 million. It probably has sold 5.1 or 5.2 million. I have not found the gross for this weekend, but it should be over 36 million € (about 47 million $)

Argo dropped a mere 14%. Skyfall case: I yesterday saw that cume is 9.9 million $ in 11 days. With actual exchange rate it has grossed 2.21 million $ this weekend. Casino Royale dropped a 48% in its second weekend (2.01 million $ weekend) and had grossed 6.7 million $ in 10 days. Quantum of Solace dropped a 56% in its second weekend (2.25 million $ weekend) and grossed 8.3 million $ in 10 days. The second weekend is on par to QoS but with a better drop and 1.6 million $ above in the same point. Having into account QoS grossed 12 million $, I still think 15 million $ is the target. Ajde
Just stunning, the Impossible's box office run is one of my favourites this year alongside the Hunger Games(domestic one) and Skyfall(worldwide), which isn't doing that bad in Spain. Good to see that too.
peludo
Just stunning, the Impossible's box office run is one of my favourites this year alongside the Hunger Games(domestic one) and Skyfall(worldwide), which isn't doing that bad in Spain. Good to see that too.According to a Spanish blog about box office (http://blog.rtve.es/estrenos/) The Impossible is at 35.6 million € and it has sold 5.09 million admissions. The article says that if it follows Agora's drop pattern it would finish with 41 million €. And if it follows The Orphanage pattern it would finish with 44 million €.
