He plays the dad but his character goes missing so I'm not exactly sure how much he's in this for. I read the book a long time ago. and don't remember how much his character was in the book for.

lol at y'all making fun of the reaction to the trailer. they are the ones that decided to make a remake/reboot of a movie that a lot of millennials grew up with that has no similarities to the original besides name.. Obviously there was going to be backlash. I dont' even think it looks bad but I predicted this when I first saw the first cast picture. It will still do well with kids or whatever but if they were just targeting kids they should have given it a different name.

keeping the name jumanji for name brand is stupid. It looks nothing at all like Jumanji which has a bright place in a lot of people's heart. he was better of just naming it something else.... Like trying to benefit off of nostalgia but making it look completely different from what people are supposed to nostalgic over is stupid/

it looks like a crowd pleaser. I think it will be a bit hit. The trailer is getting a pretty good reaction too. Sure there is the stuff about accuracy but I doubt audience will care much about that.

I just read apparently Jade Thirlwall from the British girl group Little Mix was being considered for the role of Jasmine. Idk if she is in serious consideration or what. People keep complaining that she is half white though.

yeas this. They should have gotten John Singleton and actually like consulted Tupac friends and family. More effort was needed. smh he deserved better -
yeah i know lol. I was just saying maybe they should have actually consulted people who knew him. Might have been a better film They should have waited until they had the best team for it. I feel SOC turned out well because Cube and Dre were actually involved in making it. (although that had innacuracies of course) I know his mom was an exec producer but I doubt she had much imput in the film.
