My dad owns a small business. HE owns a pharmacy and has like 9 employees. I know all about owning small business. ACA should be amended but a lot of the improvements were revoked by the GOP anyway. -
As American who's lived in Canada for like 8 years the cultural differences between the 2 countries is astounding. Universal health care is considered a normal thing and something we brag about to Americans lol. people literally can't comprehend why Americans are against it.

The help had white leads and was based on a very popular book. Not a good comparison. They actually played The Help in my local theater in Canada unlike Hidden Figures lol. I'll be happy if it reaches over 100 million.

I loved somewhere in the crowd. By far my favorite song. The script was weak though. Did not deserve to win best screenplay at GG.

it's a crowd pleaser. But it's distribution and marketing has sucked. i honestly think it would have potential for 100 million with better distribution and marketing. Too bad.

It's not like he deceived her on anything important lol that's completely different from what chris pratt's character did, pretty much killing her because he was lonely. Beauty and the beast isn't the same either. Belle chose to stay in the castle to save her father, she acts completely cold towards him, they start to bond and then the beast let her go back when she asked? Y'all are so defensive on that dumbass movie lol.

eh i mean LLL jump is good but it just won 7 golden globes. Obviously it would have a bigger boost than the revenant which was released wide right away as opposed to the gradua release of LLL

BAFTAs are racist. Not even trolling. Or they hate black americans at least. They snubbed Barry Jenkins too. They've only nominated like 3 black men in the leading actor category in 40 years. Denzel has never been nominated for a bafta but has 6 oscar nominations and 2 wins lmao! Morgan Freeman has never been nominated either and he has 5 oscar nominations lol. They loved Sidney Poitier like 50 years ago but that was a long time ago.

Also I don't trust people who say films that deal with race problems, slavery or civil rights as "white people are evil movies" It weird they dont' depict Nazi or Holocaust movies that way.

Ugh [mod edit]. What the fuck does "neutral and generic" even mean. Black people have different experiences than white people. There's nothign wrong with a movie acknowledging that. On the other hand "race neutral" roles 99% of the time go to white actors in hollywood. Anyway you said 12 years a slave was torture porn so anything you say is invalid.
