On Ministry of blah, EA release seem fairly wide and its show count for previews is extremely low.

I think so. does not have to do anything crazy to hit that number. 200K in early shows and another 2.3m+ in previews.

unless he takes another book series rather than SH or Bond or SW or anything else. He did say multiple times that at this point he is not looking to make something "safe". He will take risks considering his heft with studio and audience.

This is as of the morning. I had to go out and so could not put it out. There is not much of a pace for this movie. around 200 tics per day for previews and 150-170 for Friday. Probably will not sell much until release week. Looking at @Shawn Robbins prediction above, seems bit too optimistic. That said I hope I am wrong and it finishes very strong and does over 20m OW. For now I would be happy with double digits OW.

Strong day of walkups. I would have thought this is good for high 20s True Friday. I guess other MTC under performed again.

So it actually finished ahead of Friday. I would think that should be sufficient for a saturday increase. But other places probably under performed. Saturday ratios tend to be lower but this week it should be around the same as both days were almost the same.

Panda 4 collapsed in China like most hollywood movies. I remember way back in this thread there was a loonie predicting crazy numbers for Panda 3(400m + USD) 🙂

I looked at Saturday PS and I am expecting 5-10% bump tomorrow minus previews. Based on reports 72% of school and 39% of Colleges were out today and so there is further potential plus under performing MTC will also do better tomorrow. 

 

37/30/20 - 87m OW. I am sure @Brainbug can live with that.

PS is less than 5% below yesterday. I am expecting walkups to be even better tomorrow as 72% of schools and 39% of colleges were only out today. Plus the underperforming MTC should do even better.  Expecting 5-10% bump tomorrow minus previews.
