It appears Eric does not want to call he who must not be named for sure. 🙂 Its still too early for Charlie and I am not sure this weekend is exciting enough for RTH to come in. Volde will update for sure plus Deadline numbers should be coming in anyway.

Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire MTC1 Previews - 18303/550844 363567.31 2875 shows
I guessed it almost on point earlier today 🙂 Its quite good. 80% of Dune. But that wont be a good comp as this will be more backloaded than Dune. I am expecting 9ish previews and 60-65m OW. I will update Friday later.

Unless we see some big acceleration this week I think its going to be below afterlife for both previews/Friday. One thing going for this movie is it will have $5 deal for Tmobile/Atom next week. Let us see if that will help it catch up to afterlife. For now I am thinking 4ish previews and low/mid 30s OW.

BTW there is no comp between Ghostbusters and Zilla. Zilla in 2-3 days will overtake the then current Ghostbusters tickets sold. That movie is tracking 4-5m range while Zilla should be targeting 8m+ previews. I think movies listed above by @M37 and @Porthos make sense. To me raw data itself will tell the tale.

its keeping the biggest Imax screens even with Zilla opening. That is where its selling out almost all shows.

FYI even with Zilla, Dune is keeping the biggest Imax screens like Lincoln Sq/Metreon etc. Makes sense considering they are near full even during weekdays. FYI this is 3PM today and its not spring break in NYC region now.

Pulled these this morning. Fall Guy starts about 2x Monkey Man first day in sales and shows.
I dont think that is a fair comp. Fall Guy is a big budget movie with stars, Monkey Man is a small movie that supposed to go direct to streaming and thanks to Peele its even releasing on big screen. There are no stars for big presales. Only reason its even selling anything is due to the buzz from early screening.

I dont think this thread should be about RT. That said its interesting only 102 reviews for Panda is there at RT. I think that is by far the lowest for any big movie. Dune has 386 reviews.

you saw the wrong movie. Cillian completely immersed himself as Oppenheimer. If you had seen the documentary you would see how amazing Cillian was. Bradley was not in the same level. So there was no contest the entire awards season.
