I agree. Even Bane did not have much screen time in the 2nd half.One scene with talia. Otherwise it was all about Bruce, Blake and Gordon.

I absolutely loved this one. To me its all about nolan. What a great journey he took through in the trilogy. I thought this was way more emotional than TDK or BB. Bale was at its best. So many great scenes with Bane, Selina, Ras, Fox, Blake and the last scene with Gordon. Even though there was no performance matching ledger's joker, I thought everyone aced their roles. Anne was fantastic and carried the movie with Bane in the 1st half(Bruce IMO took over the 2nd half).Technically this was great. Regarding action Nolan is getting better with every film.Also this has the greatest climax I have ever seen.I cant wait to see it again. So does my wife.

I think TDKR OW will be much higher than 3M OW finish which TDK had. Fake earlier said despite opening lower it could even beat ASM total bcos of less competition. But we will know after next weekend.

While the Colorado tragedy will negatively impact its domestic prospects, I think it will actually increase awareness internationally. So you lose somewhere and gain elsewhere. We will know especially with next week's openings.

More like they dont like lousy animation movies. They make some of the strongest animation movies that covers most types of movies. I guess pixar being inspired from Miyazaki is relatable for the japs. None of the dreamworx venture including KFP did well(though it did much better than IA3).

I think the drop will depend on how wide TDKR opens. Based on screen allocation in some key plexes I have seen so far, its on course for a record screen count(12-13K). I doubt there will be that much spillover if its that wide(or TDKR numbers will be off the chart).I am thinking 62% drop for ASM.55% for Ted.IA4/Brave/MM drops around 50%.

I am skeptical about olympics being a huge factor outside UK. There may be specific events(like Opening/Closing Ceremony plus few niche events) that might have some impact but overall it should be business as usual.

This means its finishing around 40M. I think TDKR should hit it hard next weekend and then the olympics will hit them both.
