kay, now that was astoundingly clever. especially the ending, wow. oh and roman polanski directed this, i wonder how reflexive it is? 8.2/10

well, that he ended up such a great drummer basically vindicated the abusive methods of the teacher. the ending bothered me greatly. though i wasn't a big fan of the rest anyway, the second hand embarrassment i felt during the romance scenes was something vicious. so utterly contrived it becomes painful. anyway. i like jazz.

basically a defense of that thing we always criticise the chinese for. the drum solo at the end was pretty fucking epic i admit though, i do love me some jazz. 3.8/10

unbearably tedious waste of time. 2.4/10

if this had more birdman suicide hallucination and less heart-to-heart talk or hollywood insider snideness, it could have been really fun. 5.4/10

well everyone reacted as expected. anyway, ERIN BROKOVICH is pretty piss poor by soderbergh's standards, which aren't that great to begin with. actually, it's the worst of his i've seen.
