Not a fan of SWATH but I'm really glad it's doing well so far after weeks of underwhelming performances from new releasesI hope MIB 3 holds well in the long run, really like that one

The distributor of Piranha 3DD cave in with an R13 rating (the largest mall chain here have a policy of not screening R18 movies) and thus the movie is butchered and according to this "review" the cuts were so bad the movie is barely comprehensible

Snow White and The Huntsman Wednesday, 8 PM (Advance screening_ Glorietta, Makati City, Philippines 100% full (500 seats) Trailers Paranorman - got some laughs Katy Perry: Part of Me - Heard some people singing along to her songs and a person commented 'Wait til Lady GaGa releases her own" The Dictator - lots of laughs Madagascar 3 - laughs Bourne Legacy - some disappointed reactions when it was still the old teaser trailer, well we can't wait to see scenes shot in our country already! The movie Visually impressive, dark tone consistent , ok to solid acting but overall the story didn't leave a lasting impression. Not a bad movie but it's forgettable. Crowd loved it though and got a huge reaction when Snow White was escaping the castle, any romantic hints between Snow White and Huntsman and when the dwarfs first appeared. And towards the endm some people were surprised Snow White .Every now and then, I hear people making Twilight and Thor jokes B-

Men In Black 3 Saturday, 1 PM Gateway, Quezon City, Philippines 80% full in a ~300 seater I didn't see the trailer since the movie started when I came in The movie Better than I expected. It was fun and touching at the same time. Will Smith still has the movie star charm and just wow at Josh Brolin, excellent performance. He played a spot on Tommy Lee Jones without make it look like a caricature. Crowd response was good lots of laughs and some "awws' during the emotional scenes. Good exit chatter as well B+

With The Avengers' phenomenal box office success, I agree now that it was definitely a good move to move this movie from its original May release date.
