    MLP is a fun show, but I find it a little creepy that grown men are so into it.

    I thought John Carter was a fun adventure yarn with nice visuals, though sadly the animated characters gave better performances than most of the live actors. Everyone except Lynn Collins was pretty flat, and the movie would have benefited greatly from a more charismatic actor in the lead role.B

    I just caught up on this show. Very enjoyable, though I thought last week's episode was the weakest of the series, with some questionable story choices. However, the final scene was very satisfying, and it will be good to see Carrie and Brody interacting again.

    Box office analysis is fun, but it's not my favorite aspect of the film industry. Why am I here? I'm here because the people in this forum are passionate about movies. As for the economics of production, the end result is that some productions succeed and others fail, but the wheel never stops turning. I don't really care about wins or losses as long as the supply remains. I do feel some disappointment when talent goes unrewarded, but even if a player I enjoy gets bounced from the game, there's always another waiting to fill the vacuum.

    Wrong. Quality is the only thing that matters. Quality is the only thing that will be remembered, hence the role of the Stallone version as punchline to various jokes.Dredd 3D was never going to receive a sequel, even if it performed well for the genre. Hence, it lost nothing by bombing. It got filmed, it got released, and now it gets to accumulate new fans over time.

    This is the best film I've seen so far this year, and it's not even close. The audience applauded when the jet cleared Iranian airspace and again when the credits rolled...at a matinee, on Tuesday, in mid-Michigan. That just doesn't happen.A

    Yes, yes, Dredd bombed, unequivocally. That wasn't my point. My point was that people like this knucklehead will eat up any heaping platter of shit like Judge Dredd will a big ol' grin and ask, "MORE PLEASE!"...Just because it features an aging international star with more botox than brains. How can you not take a discerning customer like that seriously?

    Liked it, didn't love it. Something was missing, I'm not sure what. I never became emotionally invested in the story, despite JGL's fantastic performance.B

    Where are the classics? Of these, I think Ratatouille is the best film, but Wall-E = infinite smiles, so I vote for him.

    I thought all of these things either looked terrible or they were poorly executed. The city was bad CGI; the bike looked like it was made entirely of plastic. That movie failed on every possible level except unintentional hilarity.
