  7. I'm definitely in the minority here, as I don't think Spider-man is be a good fit for The Avengers. Maybe that's just because I'm not a big Spidy fan, can't deny that it would bring in big numbers though.
  8. I think it will be done within the next five years.Maybe TA2 if they add a new character and I don't think it is out of the realm of possibilities for TDKR to do it.A crossover could do it as well like a Batman/Spider-Man movie. They've done stuff like that in comics, but I don't know all the legal issues with movies.
  9. For A Dream music, but I like this version better
  10. I have checked box office stats off and on since1999 when The Phantom Menace came out. I've never really posted in any forums until The Avengers came out this year. This is the site that got me into the box office:http://www.the-movie-times.com/They used to have all kinds of great polls/surveys, which I love

  12. If it has average drops from here on out then $600m is in the bag, but if it starts following Spider-man3's drops then it will get interesting. My figures show it finishing around $615m by using the average drops of IM, IM2, and Thor.
  13. Just finished looking through the list of directors and most of them have at least one or two sub-par films. Also, there are several movies that I haven't seen from many of the directors.I think Cameron comes the closest for me, but I haven't seen The Abyss all the way through to properly rate that movie. And I'm not completely sold on True Lies.Bryan Singer (haven't seen Apt Pupil or Valkyrie) and Wolfgang Petersen (haven't seen a couple of his movies either) would also be on my short list.
  14. Thinking about watching THG this weekend with my wife

  16. I would say the drops were similar to the other movies, Thor and IM had better drops than the top movies.
  17. Hopefully this number is just an anomaly for The Avengers:Here are the Wednesday after Memorial Day percent drops for other Marvel movies that opened in May:Movie: Day%Drop/Week%DropIron Man -11%/-28%Iron Man2 -12%/-28%Thor -10%/-29%Spider-Man -8%/-25%Spider-Man3 -7%/-38%The Avengers -23%/-37%Maybe it will get back on track today
  18. Thanks for everyone who took time to vote. I'll do another poll after the TDKR has been out a few weeks. Not sure if I'll do only five and vote for one or do ten and vote for 3. The five would look like this: Star Wars (OT), Indiana Jones, Toy Story, The Lord of the Rings, and The Dark Knight. [*]The Lord of the Rings (TFOTR, TTT, TROTK) 2001-2003 (27 votes [22.13%]) [*]Star Wars Original (ANH, TESB, ROTJ) 1977-1983 (20 votes [16.39%]) [*]Toy Story (1, 2, 3) 1995-2010 (14 votes [11.48%]) [*]Indiana Jones (ROTLA, TTOD, TLC) 1981-1989 (13 votes [10.66%])
  19. 1) Star Trek II2) Total Recall3) Red Dawn4) The Dark Knight Rises5) The Bourne Legacy6) G.I. Joe: Retaliation7) The Expendables II8) The Amazing Spider-Man9) Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted10) Ice Age: Continental Drift
