Yeah, 7/8pm previews were okish, but now its like movies are just straight up releasing on Thursday. -

That and not having to be around a bunch of smokers, either. If we were still having to use lots of yellows and browns in interior decorating to hide the tar stains, not smoking on an individual level would only go so far. Then add even a basic skincare routine, and wearing decent sunscreen or otherwise avoiding UV, and it starts to add up.

A casualty of covid, i think. This movie was supposed to come out before No Way Home but delays shuffled everything around and they might not have had time to make major changes without even more delays.

Nah I misremembered. I thought you could see it in Kittys eyes just before the change happens, but no, i got the order back wards. Its eye reflection then Sentinel blast then change, not Sentinel blast then eye reflection then change. Hadn't seen the movie since it was in theaters :P.

He gets zapped by a Sentinel just before the future is changed, but its sort of off screen.

Yeah, a more "realistic" depiction of Norse mythology would've never flown with the Comics Code Authority back when Thor was introduced in the comics.

Great movie. Possibly a masterpiece, need to see it a couple more times to be sure. It's like if The Matrix ditched the cynicism and too cool for school vibe, had a baby with Quantum Leap, and that baby grew up to be an existentialist that really liked absurdist comedy.

It's well earned. I struggle to think of a worse movie I've seen in the last couple years. edit: Double checked all the movies I've seen in theaters since May of last year. Definitely the worst. Snake Eyes was the only one that came even remotely close.

Not necessarily. The first trailer for Ragnarok dropped out of the blue, and that was when "trailer for the trailer" was way more of a thing.

I think GOTG2's opening is a bit weaker than the first one, but overall they're pretty close quality-wise.

I mean, you don't climb up to 5th largest economy in the world by being the failed state that some folks of a particular political persuasion seem to think we are. edit: Anyway, not a fan of penny pinchers like Chapek. They have a tendency to drive away the people with actual talent and ability, so the faster he's gone the less damage he'll be able to do. -

Blame the last Batman movie. Same thing happened with Batman Begins, and that one had way more distance from the previous stinker. -
I think so. Between that and the awful Bob's Burgers trailer, previews are more of a chore than usual.
