With the potential failing from PR and R.I.P.D, they can give up their theaters so MOS can push for 300m. -
PA 1, 2 and 3 was okay for me. I'm glad they're taking their time after PA4, because PA4 was such a terrible mess.

PR is dropping too hard. It's looking like a 60% drop at least this weekend.

I did see it at 3.8m on Wednesday, 3.6m on Thursday and about a 16m to 17m weekend myself. But who knows.

Indeed. Man of Steel might make 20m if it's lucky. I'm still thinking about 15m.

I agree. I do believe people are being very harsh on Man of Steel's number. It's done more than enough to warrant a sequel.

It wasn't was that bad of a hold, considering it lost more theaters, IMAX and had more competition. I was expecting a 60% drop.

When I went to see Man of Steel today, my 2:10pm screening was about 20% full, which is pretty decent.

I'd say so. It's about a 23% increase, which about right considering with all the competition. -

Man of Steel's legs are definitely stabilising.

Of course its legs will be worse than TDKR; Man of Steel is a reboot and not expecting to have amazing legs. Well, I never expecting it to have amazing legs. I expected 300m domestically and 450m overseas.

A 50% weekend drop is impressive, given the competition it has had to face the last 2 weeks. And its legs are decent, enough for it to make a good profit. Nobody was expecting Avatar legs here.
