How is Zoo doing in Australia? I know it isn't breaking out there, but is 20 million USD possible?

Zootopia is now the #1 film WW of 2016!! I know it aint staying there for too long but still nice to see it do it!

I don't care about BvS. Zootopia is holding extra strong and I'm happy with that!

But WDAS films have lots of co-directors? Frozen (Chris Buck, Jennifer Lee), Tangled (Byron Howard, Nathan Greno), Big Hero 6(Don Hall, Chris Williams) and Zootopia (Byron Howard, Rich Moore). How is that?

Japan will be the deciding factor if 1B WW will be reached. Over BH6 might be enough to push it to a billlion. I see BvS doing 1-1.1 billion WW, so Zootopia only has a very slim chance of passing it WW.

A bit tough tho altho I'd definitely love that. At this point it seems that around $325M may be the high end

Indeed. Big Hero 6's total overseas gross is 435 million. Zootopia will come close to that number even without China gross which is really impressive!

Oknumber for Zoo. Heading for 23.5 million, which is a -37% from last weekend. BvS really had an impact to it.

I really hope Zootopia can sneak into 24 million atleast. 23 million looks more like the number at this point but I hope it can hold on better. Heck I though last week that 35 milliom was the max that it'll do, but it did 37 million which is great. Hopefully it'll exceed my estimates again!

Uh, it's fine. Using Home's it's looking at 22-23 million dollars. Hope it holds better in Saturday and Sunday.

As if CBM arent front loaded. The maximum multiplier for CBM these days is 3 times its OW, and that only happens with GREAT WOM AND CRITICAL REVIEWS.

Everyone's using MoS as comparison to BvS, but that was a summer film. why don't we use FF7? Both released easter weekend, both tentpole films. Both action-packed and highly anticipated FF7 did 147M OW and ended its run doing 353 million. Basically 2.4 multiplier. If BvS does 160 million OW, it might end up 384 million domestic using FF7 multiplier. Keep in mind tho that FF7 was getting great reviews, See You Again helped the film's popularity also. BvS is getting lackluster reviews tho. Altho I'd say that its appeal is more four-quadrant than FF7.
