  1. it is tough to pinpoint a natural time relative to anything. probably a trait of being stuck. but not of being lost and drifting.
  2. It is funny how in the Star Wars prequels, they are destroying the Jedi temple and destroying all the digital archives with the updated visual effects, and then in The Last Jedi (some 50-60 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith), they are burning the last Jedi Temple and the books.
  3. it could, but I wouldn't want it to be that way. if I was to accept that you exist, or if my acceptance of you existing proves that you exist, it could count, but I don't think that would be good enough for me to accept that they proved their existence.
  4. any other Friday afternoon box office updates? https://variety.com/2018/film/news/ant-man-and-the-wasp-box-office-opening-weekend-1202866829/ https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/box-office-ant-man-wasp-buzzes-115m-thursday-night-1125313
  5. It looks like the selling point of Paul Rudd breathing into a fan for Ant-Man 2 could have helped push AM2 above initial tracking, while the trailer screenshots of the animals in JW2 could have shaved off some initial hype/anticipation. AM2 - 100 OW JW2 - 150 OW
  6. The 90 minute runtime should work in its favor. I am pretty sure The Dark Tower did like 4x overseas what it did domestic. I am not going to fact check this wild opinion, I will just assume its real because it sounds good. 😄
  7. can't believe how fast Ant-Man busted past lukewarm tracking vs 2018 presales w/ others. the 75-90m tracking a few days ago was outperformed with 6p.m. opening shows it seems. 100m seems almost guaranteed then.

  9. the-numbers.com has yet to update on the Tuesday estimates. WB did not report Rampage # on Tues, but did for Monday. - (-) Rampage Warner Bros. $44,207 -64% 201 $220 $98,445,471 81
  10. Shit! It is still early on the West Coast. A little past 9 a.m. I don't think thenumbers.com really updates any major studios then for at least another, that is if they even show up at all. Shucks, Deadline might be the only accurate report today, but I don't know if those are official studio released estimates. Slippy out.
  11. could do 50-100 OW. did not know this was opening this year. could add another $200 million domestic grossing Transformers movie to the series, along with $500 million+ overseas. I think Transformers 6 might still do well though. The Last Knight managed to keep the budget maybe below $250 million. If they bring it back down to around $200-210 million for a part 6, that should probably work out fine for the film. The Last Knight - $217-260 million Age of Extinction - $210 million Dark of the Moon - $195 million Revenge of the Fallen - $200 million Transformers - $150 million
