  1. All I can say is some people need to stay away from predicting box office....hell even stay away from posting in these threads with their stupid posts filled with hyperbole and shit. Just become lurkers and go boxofficemojo to learn seasonal percentages drops/increases etc
  2. Just woke up to see these numbers. Lol at Noctis. As for RTHs original numbers...he seemed way off. But guess that was early on in the day. I struggle to see Interstellar hitting 50 for weekend.
  3. Good article Baumer The weekend i remember most fondly was Spiderman 3 and the The Dark Knight. I remember punching the air when Spiderman smashed DMC record. Pity about the movie itself though. The biggest shock for me was TDK though. It was the most anticipated film for me since i loved Batman Begins so much. All the industry trackers pointed to 120mill max (that i saw anyway)with some being very conservative and saying 75-85mil. I remember it was only my sister saying to me 'wouldnt it be great if Batman beat Spidey.' I laughed it off and didnt think about it again. I just wanted it to be a success. I recall checking deadline on Friday for Thursday midnights and nearly screamed in shock and than when the 67mill opening day happened it was one of the most exciting things i had experienced. As for the full opening weekend and the incredible legs i think it just reflect the awesome quality of the film. Absolutely incredible run.
  4. a decent reboot but nothing special. I guess for people who experienced the original will always miss Englund. There is only 1 Freddy....though Haley did a pretty decent job. C
  5. I'm surprised at how much i enjoyed this. It was a good take on the legend of Hercules. Story was good as were the comedic elements. Overall just a fun movie to relax and not take too seriously. I like the question left at the end....is he really the son of Zeus?? (how else do you topple a gigantic statue) B
  6. Titanic Face/Off Good Will Hunting Con Air Contact Flubber i know What you did Last Summer Anastasia Starship Troopers Wishmaster Men in black
  7. In order The Rock Independence Day Primal Fear Mission Impossible The Sleepers from Dusk till Dawn James and the Giant Peach Matilda
  8. Classic horror. Terrifying in its time but makes me chuckle now. Nearly made me wet my bed as a kid. Freddy is still my number 1 horror villain. A
  9. Best Pixar movie with the Toy Story trilogy, Pure fun with a great heart. A
  10. Felt like a Spielberg movie from the 80's. Great watch. Enjoyed it thoroughly. A
  11. a good movie but room for a lot of improvement. Action was fine. Acting needs to be better and does the CGi on splinter especially. Megan Fox was not a believable April either. Decent but it looks as though it was only made for kids, which they will love. B-
  12. Some of the best SFX for its time. The marketing for this was spot on. Those tornadoes scared the shit out of me. All the main stuff happened in the beginning though which left the other half of the movie pretty empty. Still very good though. B+
  13. As a lot of people have said already. Its a badly made movie but a true guilty pleasure. For that alone i give it an A. That theme music is absolutely fantastic and pretty iconic. To see your favourite game characters face off onscreen was a real thrill. This is a masterpiece compared to the Street Fighter movie.
  14. Ezra miller does not look like Flash...at all. Not even in the slightest. From the hair colour to the facial structure to his twig like body. He looks like a girl. I don't doubt his acting skills but this is the shittest casting ever. Grant Gustin can pull off a somewhat younger version for TV and so far seems to have done a good job.
  15. Fuck no man. Boxofficemojo was the first boxoffice site i ever visited. Used it for 13 years. This sucks big time. its an iconic site
