The critics weren't completely right but they weren't completely wrong either.

Hey guys. I saw this movie. I saw it with my own two eyes.

Good first act, draggy second act, great third act. Overall, the movie tries to do way too much and because of that it suffers. It would have been better to drop some of the sub-plots and tighten up the editing to get to the point quicker. There were multiple scenes that had flashbacks to scenes we've already seen which also added to a very tiresome runtime. If the movie was better, I'd be willing to watch it again this weekend but I'm so tired out by how long everything took that I'm in no rush to see this again. This makes me question the rewatch value (which Man of Steel at least has). B/B- (kinda on the edge on whether to add the "-" because soooo much of it was soooo dull but there was soooo many parts that were just soooo awesome.)

nice point, but the Batman Dawn of justice has, is the frank miller version, thats why i stated it would be extra-dark, and speakin of IGN didnt they give MOS a 9/10? now BvS a 6.8/10 :/ Yeah I don't know anything about Frank Miller's Batman or what that means. Most people frankly do not even know who Frank Miller is.

i knew you would say this but, was dark knight really a DARK movie? i felt it was more of, a realistic movie, it didnt really feel too dark You literally just said you expect Batman vs. Superman movie to be dark because it has Batman in it then I point to a Batman movie and that's not dark? Most of the audience hate the gritty dark tone, in their view its not ''fun'' as IGN said. im not defending the movie, not hating on other movies, but i find it weird to hate a movie titled as batman v superman for being ''dark''.. like you didnt expect the movie to be dark or humorless already? it has Batman, and the trailer already showed the tone and where the movie was heading to. People laughed at some of the trailers' jokes and while people might expect it to be dark, that doesn't mean that there isn't a barometer for how dark it can get. What expectations? There's nothing to go on right now. These are critics. They are not the ones invested into this universe the way the fans are. Batman has a massive following and if the film is anything near as good as what I have been reading from FANS then this is going to be an awesome movie. I can't believe you guys really think critics are going to mean anything to this film, especially opening weekend. I don't get you guys. A lot of critics are as invested as fans. They became critics because they were fans especially in the Internet age. Anyways, I remember making a bet with grim months ago. I'm going to lose it i think but that's because the OW is going to be bigger than I thought. But I thought the total had a ceiling not because of the property but because I predicted Batman vs. Superman was going to be, like other Snyder movies, hate it or love it.
