  1. A couple of small updates today on the #Indiegogo video. https://t.co/1RZ3P6Mqq7

  2. Well for all I know there could be like ONE guy in the thousands of people who make movies that's said in an interview that's said he wants to make bad movies, for whatever reason, and for all I know iJack could have found said interview. But yeah. I've read an interview from a writer who tried selling his work to The Asylum and he noted that they actually think they are making good movies and they take them very seriously.
  3. Snyder might have preferred to have made Man of Steel 2 but not so strongly that he was willing to drop out of the project. It might have been WB's call but they thought they could deliver a strong Batman vs. Superman movie now. Snyder is a professional and I'm sure he did the best he could with the project that WB hired him to do. Trying to suggest otherwise is silly. For the most part, people don't set out to make bad movies. They try to make good movies. People who go into studios tend to do so for a reason (besides the money): they love film(s). They want to make good films. It doesn't always work out.
  4. You are complaining that rukaio has a negative opinion of the film, not arguing the points he's made. You don't really defend the film or try to address the points. You just accuse rukaio of having a lot of contempt for the film and then try to get him to address his "limitations" in his future writing endeavors. And yes, any critique of the validity of actual criticism is not okay. To suggest it's okay is to say that someone can't have a valid opinion on the film which goes into Mango's entire point of his post. Rukaio didn't like the film and guess what? Just about every single criticism he's had about the plot of the movie holds water. Every single one. Now you can disagree and try to defend plot points but that doesn't mean Rukaio is wrong for wanting to address what he thought were flaws in a movie. And if you are going to try to argue that he's taking movies way too seriously on a forum dedicated to the film industry....good luck there? Yeah, I would hope there's members of this forum that take movies seriously.
  5. I think he found out when he went to the alien ship and was "tell me all you know about all the knowledge you've gathered from hundreds of planets." I mean Clark Kent's identity. No idea how he found out that Bruce Wayne was Batman but.....Bruce Wayne did keep the Bat signal at the destroyed Wayne Manor so (that's where it was, right? or was it a warehouse?).....so.... He's unpredictable because you never know when he's going to shove a jolly rancher in your mouth! By the way there was a missed chance for adding tension to the Batman vs. Superman fight since they went with that route. That is the tried-and-true approach of cutting to the literal clock that's running down. Imagine you're watching Superman lose the fight because Superman's an idiot, cutting to the time running out for Martha, back to fight, and such. But no. We see the villains setting up the clock. Next time we see that clock? the fight is over and Batman's beating the asses of the mercenaries. So freakin' dumb.
  6. It depends on how much you care about continuity. Arrow/The Flash do have cross-over episodes but not sure if you need to watch Arrow (outside of those cross-over episodes) to get what's going on? If you want, you can start with the episodes of Arrow where Barry Allen is introduced? I don't know, I can't imagine not going in order of the content being released. Then again, I tend to consume all content I can about each world I'm invested in.
  7. Probably will fare better than Brandon Routh. Oh wait, Brandon Routh is in the far superior Arrowverse? NVM.
  8. A cameo where he had to get into costume and go in a water tank as they took multiple shots. It probably took him a whole day. I could be wrong ofc.
  9. I've never seen a FF film. I assume that's the first sequel to justify itself and set up more films? If so then sure.
  10. Last I checked 34 good grades and 28 bad grades. More positive does not mean mostly positive. Pretty mixed.
  11. Well yeah. The point is you told a complete story in the first film. Making a sequel thus unnecessary. Doesn't mean you can't turn it into a franchise (ala Fast and Furious).
  12. The reaction on BOT is pretty mixed actually. There are those who love it and those who hate it.
  13. I hope WOM is fantastic but that doesnt change the fact that the movie is over a month away.
  14. Better WOM? How when we're a month away from release and it hasn't even been screened to critics? My prediction still sees an increase in the OW from The Winter Soldier.
  15. It's cause you wore a Star Wars shirt rather than a Batman shirt I bet! Didn't put us in the right mood for a whole bunch of grim bullshitting.
  16. Oh yeah, right. I want to see Emmerich nuke entire solar systems on the big screen. "Hey what if we send a virus to the mother ship again. " "We can't." "Why?" "They switched over to Apple." Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
